Whether it's called a street team a virtual team or a fan team, an online team is a way to join up with other fans to promote your favorite artists, products, and/or services at the grassroots level. Online teams are becoming more and more important in the process of breaking new artists, products, and/or services, and assuring that established artists, products, and/or services’ fans are aware of what is happening. This information can include important news about new releases, website improvements and additions, contests and promotions, tours and more. Joining a virtual team is a great way to help support an artist, product, and/or service you like and share your enthusiasm with your friends and potential new fans. You will earn points by successfully completing various promotions and tasks that will help to spread the word on your favorite artists, products, and/or services and increase the membership in their teams. Tasks are valued at various point levels according to difficulty and importance to the individual artists' campaigns. Back To Top How do I find out how many points I have? It's easy to find out how many points you have from within the site of the virtual teams you are a member of. Your current point total will always be displayed in the upper left had column of each page. In addition you can obtain a detailed breakdown of how many points you have collected from each of the current promotions you are actively participating in by visiting the My Promotions page. Back To Top Is there a maximum number of points I can earn? There may be a maximum number of points for certain tasks and promotions but overall we try to encourage enthusiastic participation in promotions, tasks and contests so there is generally no limit to the points you can accumulate as a member of a virtual team. Back To Top How do I redeem my points? It's easy to redeem your points for prizes. Simply visit the My Rewards area and look around at the available prizes. When you find a prize you want follow the simple instructions to redeem your points. Remember you must accumulate enough points to cover the value of the prize you are interested in. Generally we stock multiples of most prizes, if a prize is out of stock an alert will appear underneath the prize picture alerting users that it is currently out of stock. Over the course of time we will replace out of stock prizes with comparable replacements so don't worry if you miss something the first time around. Because we do not cross-promote membership in multiple teams, the points you earn from individual teams are redeemable only within the specific team from where they were earned. Back To Top Is there any type of deadline I need to redeem my points by? Generally most teams are ongoing efforts and you can continue to accumulate unlimited points. Occasionally a team will come to a scheduled end and points will need to be redeemed. We will make our best efforts to inform all team members well in advance of the closing of any team so all points can be redeemed for prizes. In addition to send to a friend type promotions many teams will reward you with additional points mechanisms for enrolling friends who are fans too. If you're having technical problems completing a promotional task the best place to start is re-reading the Available Promotions description text. From the Registration screen simply select a password composed of any combination of letters and numbers (not case sensitive). Your password should be something that will be known only by you. Your password must be at least 6 letters/numbers long. Enter your password twice to verify and continue on to complete registration.
